Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice, done laying on the back (or whichever way is comfortable for your body). You are guided through various visualizations, breath work, body awareness, and into deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra is a deeply healing practice that brings you out of the ego and into the subconscious levels of your being to heal automatic patterning and behaviours that no longer serve. You will arise out of this practice feeling very relaxed. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep. This is a great practice for everyone, especially those sleep deprived and with very busy lives.
