I will collect contact info on the first class so I can email dates the class is cancelled or other information. PLEASE - BRING YOUR OWN MAT! I will provide bolsters, blankets and blocks (as many as I have). If you wish to have one, for cleanliness purposes, please bring your own eye cover, even a scarf works. If you have your own props you'd like to use, please feel free to bring them. The class is very gentle, wear comfortable, loose clothing and layering is good for the Yoga Nidra part as the body temperature tends to lower in deep meditation. If you have any questions about the practice, please feel free to email me email@example.com
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice, done laying on the back (or whichever way is most comfortable for your body). You will be guided through various visualizations, breath work, body awareness, and into deep relaxation. This is a practice of feeling deeply and getting beyond the surface level to explore, release and heal subconscious patterning that may no longer be of service to the Being you are in the present. You will arise out of this practice feeling very relaxed. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep. This is a great practice for everyone!
